How does the plate and frame oil filtration machine work?

When the plate and frame oil filtration machine starts to work, the dirty oil enters into each filter frame through the input channel. Under the action of the filter element, the impurities are trapped on the filter plate, and the purified oil is collected in the output channel and is removed out of the machine by the filter, while the dirt remains on the surface of the filter paper. The small water droplets in the emulsified oil are absorbed by the capillaries in the filter paper, forming large water droplets that flow to the bottom of the filter bed and are discharged from the drain valve at any time. When the filter residue on the surface of the filter paper gradually thickens and the water content in the filter paper increases, the filtration resistance increases. When it increases to a certain level (usually 0.3-.05Mpa), the filtration should be stopped. After replacing the filter paper, continue to use.

Machine adjustment and commissioning

1. The placement position of the filter plate, filter frame and filter paper on the filter bed should be kept correct. Three filter papers should be placed near the thrust plate and the compression plate at both ends, and then the filter plate should be placed, and then the filter plate and filter frame should be placed in alternate order. , and place two filter papers between the plate and the frame. One side of the filter plate and the filter frame is a triangular support ear, and the other side is a circular arc support ear, which is used for supporting on two support rods (plates).
The triangular ears and arc ears of the filter plate and the filter frame must be on the same side as the triangular ears and arc ears of the compression plate, and the triangular ears must be installed on the side of the liquid inlet and cannot be misplaced, otherwise the filtering ability will be lost. The filter plate and filter frame should be positioned against the solid support rod on the side of the arc support ear.
You should use clean and dry filter paper. If the old filter paper after cleaning and drying is used, the dirty side of the filter paper should be placed against the filter frame, so as to prevent the clean impurities from being washed down and polluting the filtered oil. After the filter plate and filter frame are installed, check whether the position is correct, and then rotate the handle to compress. When compressing, it is not allowed to lengthen the compression handle, and only one person can operate it. Finally close the oil pan cover.
2. The whole machine should be grounded when connecting to power. It should be checked that there is no looseness in each connection part. Turn the wheel forward and reverse for three or four turns by hand to see if there is any jamming phenomenon. After everything is normal, jog the motor to check that the rotation direction of the oil pump is consistent with the direction of the arrow, and must not be reversed.
3. The oil inlet and outlet of the oil filtration machine are connected to the oil reservoir through a rubber hose, and all control valves are opened, and the oil return valve and the oil drain nozzle are closed. When everything is ready, the oil filtration machine can be started.
4. After running for one minute, it is normal when the pointer of the pressure gauge is about 0.25Mpa. If the pointer is larger than 0.5MPa, it should be stopped to check the fault, and then start after troubleshooting.

Operation guide

1. The operator must be familiar with the performance and debugging methods of the machine.
2. Clean the piping system and the inner cavity of the machine.
3. After the machine is started, the reading of the pressure gauge and the operation of the machine should be checked frequently. Once the machine is abnormal, it should be stopped immediately, and the machine should be restarted after troubleshooting.
4. According to the oil filter capacity, after circulating and filtering 2 to 3 times the oil filter volume, unscrew the oil water nozzle and take out the oil sample for testing until it is qualified.
5. After working for a certain period of time, if the pressure rises above 0.5MPa or the pressure drops compared to the initial pressure, the system filter paper breaks or the filter paper absorbs a large amount of water and the capillary expands, both of which have lost their filtering ability.
6. The safety valve has been checked and adjusted before leaving the factory, and it is sealed with lead, and it should not be disassembled at will. If it is really necessary to make adjustments, the test can only be continued after passing the test.
7. Pay attention to the oil mark when working. If there is too much oil in the oil pan, you can open the oil return valve, drain the oil in the oil pan, and then close the oil return valve.
8. When there is too much water in the oil, the oil should be heated to evaporate part of the water, and then filtered after cooling to normal temperature.
9. After filtration, the machine should be cleaned, coated with anti-rust oil, and placed in a dry and ventilated place.

Maintenance of the oil filtration machine

1. All sealing surfaces should be coated with anti-rust oil when not in use to prevent corrosion of the sealing surfaces (such as filter plates, filter frames, thrust plates, compression plates, etc.).
2. Clean the filter screen, trapezoidal screw, etc., and apply anti-rust oil.
3. All pipe joints should be wrapped and sealed to prevent foreign matter from entering the pipe system.
4. During the movement of the machine, prevent collision and overturn, so as not to damage the machine and reduce the working performance of the machine.
5. The product should not be stored in the open air to avoid being polluted by wind, rain, sun and dust. If it cannot be moved indoors for some reason, rain-proof measures must be taken.

When should the oil filtration machine not be used?

You cannot use this unit in the following situations:
1. The altitude is more than 1000 meters.
2. The ambient medium temperature is higher than +40℃ and lower than -10℃.
3. The relative humidity of the air is greater than 85%.
4. Where there are explosion-proof requirements, an oil purifier with an explosion-proof motor must be selected.
5. There is no rainproof facility or an environment full of water vapor.
6. It cannot filter gasoline, kerosene and volatile liquids containing acid and alkali.

Points to pay attention to when using the plate and frame oil purifier

1. Always keep the machine clean.
2. The filter frame is relatively fragile, so handle it with care when using it.
3. When pushing the oil purifier, the speed should not be too fast to avoid the machine being damaged by violent impact.
4. Lubricating oil should be added frequently to the compression screw nut.
