What is a bag filter housing

How the bag filter housing works?
The bag filter housing is composed of housing, filter bag and support basket, which is simple in structure and easy to install. When the filter housing starts to work, the liquid flows into the equipment from the inlet located above. The flow direction of liquid at the filter bag is from inside to outside, and the solid impurity particles are intercepted inside the filter bag when passing through the filter bag. The support basket outside the filter bag can provide support for the filter bag to prevent the water pressure from pressing the filter bag on the cylinder wall and affecting the filtering effect. The clean liquid flows out through the outlet below.
A pressure gauge is set on the top of the bag filter housing. When solid impurities are deposited to a certain amount, they will block the normal flow of liquid, causing the pressure in the filter bag to increase. When the pressure reaches the value set in advance, a prompt will be issued to remind the staff to replace the filter bag. When you change the filter bag, you need to open the pressure relief port first, and then open the quick disassembly flange on the top to change the filter bag. After the filter bag is replaced, the pressure gauge will return to the normal state again, and the equipment can operate normally.

How to replace the filter bag
Step 1: Close the inlet valve and open the air exhaust valve to reduce the pressure inside the filter to normal pressure;
Step 2: Open the fixing bolts or quick release fasteners on the top cover to open the top cover;
Step 3: Open the snap ring that fixes the filter bag, take out the blocked filter bag and replace it with a new one;
Step 4: close the top cover, lock the bolts or quick release;
Step 5: Open the water inlet valve and close the air exhaust valve when liquid flows out of the exhaust valve.
